Design goal:Renew the old version 12-inch and 6.5-inch product to the new product also with the new structure
Provide a suitable design for the kids
Business goal: Decrease the production cost and develop the OEM and ODM product
Control production the cost to match up the range of retail price
Fulfill the amount units for the annual production requirement

Sketches & Development
Design Development:
Followed the packaging size, the cost, the structure to develop the appropriate size for the toy
Used the general data of the target kids' hands size to adjust the form and size of the handles
Printed the sketches on the cardboard to test the handle
Used orange color for the triggers, gun muzzle, and the handle for following the exporting toy safety standards
Applied the sci-fi and machine patterns detail for abounding the toys
Decided to make the extra gun muzzles for storage function instead of the old complex blast-off function
Designed the stickers for ODM and OEM version
Production Consideration:
Made the functional and appearance prototype before production
Classified the assembling parts for the molding tools by materials and colors
Controlled the production cost by using 3 sets of different molding
Adjusted the draft angles of each pattern, part, and structure for simple production
Applied the upper die and lower die for simple production
Modified and discussed the details with production teams by Testing1-Testing 3 before mass production
Designed the parting line for the sticker on the housing for decreasing the prodduction time

Sketches & Development
Design Development:
Added the circle with lighting and spin-around function on the body
Deleted the lighting and spin around function after cost control
Changed the trigger position to the bottom for easier to pull
Designed the shooting target for the accessories
Modified the size of the handle
Based on the structure to modify the housing on the gun muzzle area
Applied the sci-fi and machine patterns detail for abounding the toys
Decided to make the extra gun muzzles for storage function instead of the old complex blast-off function
